Contractually obligated content produced as cheaply as possible at industrial scale to maximize the profitability of the studio or corporation. Since the primary cost of any content is labor, studios ration out their marketable talent and pad the rest with second, third-rate or anonymous performers, which are virtually always at that level for a good reason. Which is just a long-winded way of saying the only suitable demographic that would have its expectations met in viewing this would be the cast and crew involved in its production, and even then, likely not for all of them.
